Member Monday Feature: Landmark Fire Protection Keeps the Garden State Safe
If you were to pick out a building from the skyline of a North Jersey town, odds are Landmark has worked on it. Landmark Fire Protection has worked on MetLife Stadium, Red Bull Arena, Newark’s Prudential Arena, New Jersey Performance Arts Center, numerous high-rise residential towers such as the 79-story 99 Hudson Street, The American Dream, the new Meadowlands Racetrack grandstand, New Jersey Transit’s Secaucus Transfer Station, Newark Airports CONRAC facility, Princeton University’s Lewis Center for the Arts, and Trenton’s new Central High School—to name just a few.
If you’re a New Jersey native you’ll no doubt be familiar with the projects listed above, however everyone across the country will recognize Landmark’s most notable project: the Statue of Liberty! Landmark worked on retrofitting Lady Liberty in 2004 as well as Ellis Island (pictured to the right: the inside of the Statue of Liberty’s crown).
Landmark Fire Protection and NFSA: Partners in Progress
For its nearly 40 years in operation, Landmark Fire Protection has been an avid NFSA member. Paul gets a lot of use from NFSA’s Tech Notes, as well as NFSA’s Expert of the Day, which Landmarks uses dozens of times a year.
Angela served as the NFSA New Jersey Chapter Chair for 10 years, a position which Paul now serves, and the company has been present at numerous NFSA events, from local golf outings to regional seminars and expos. Landmark looks forward to many more years with the NFSA.
