NFSA ITM Specialist Vince Powers presented the Understanding, Applying and Enforcing NFPA 25 training class to a packed house of fire marshals, building officials, sprinkler contractors, building managers, and insurance representatives. Powers discussed recent changes to the standard, internal pipe inspections, impairment tagging and testing procedures.

The lack of common ITM ordinances in the St. Louis area has created some concern for area contractors. Powers explained the benefits of common ITM ordinances as well as the need for each municipality to require ITM documentation reporting.

The seminar provided a tremendous amount of new information to the St. Louis area and brought lots of accolades from participants.
