Assisted-Living Facility Fire Forces Evacuation
The Green Bay Fire Department responded to a reported fire in an assisted-living facility at 7:00 PM and arrived to find heavy smoke in the hallways. The fire started in a closet in a resident’s apartment and was controlled by the fire sprinkler system. The Battalion Chief credited the fire sprinkler system for doing a “great job”.
