For over a century, the National Fire Sprinkler Association has been advocating for the widespread acceptance of fire sprinkler systems throughout the United States. Our mission is simple: “To protect lives and property from fire through the wide-spread acceptance of the fire sprinkler concept.” The NFSA has accomplished this through a variety of means, including working closely with lawmakers on both state and local levels to pass legislation that will make homes and businesses safer, media appearances, and live fire sprinkler demonstrations. The NFSA also works closely with Common Voices, the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition, and several grassroots organizations to advance its mission.
Our diverse team of fire officials, engineers, attorneys, and tradespeople pulls from a myriad of different skills and experiences to effectively promote the fire sprinkler industry.
The National Fire Sprinkler Association prides itself on being the premier resource for training and education in the fire industry. Our classes, taught by accredited instructors, are approved in most states states for CEUs. We also offer licensure recertification accreditation and NICET credits. We are an ICC Preferred Provider.
For those that can't make it to on-site training, the NFSA offers online and blended training classes that satisfy multiple state requirements for CEUs.
All are welcome to enroll, though members of our fire sprinkler association are entitled to discounted rates for training.
