PenJerDel Celebrates NFSA Membership of Two Companies at Joint Meeting | Member Monday
The National Fire Sprinkler Association PenJerDel Chapter held a successful joint meeting alongside the AFSA and ASCET. The meeting— which had over 85 attendees representing over a dozen fire sprinkler contractors, suppliers and manufacturers, and engineers— presented an opportunity for all present to discuss developments both locally and nationally in the fire protection industry.
Members of the associations were able to discuss several topics, including legislative developments in Pennsylvania— particularly as it related to contractor licensing— training opportunities, and networking events in both Philadelphia and throughout the country.
Celebrating NFSA Membership Anniversaries
While the schedule for the night’s meeting was packed, it did not stop the NFSA team from taking some time to commemorate two members who had milestone anniversaries.
Wayman Fire Protection – 10 Years of NFSA Contractor Membership
The NFSA membership team presented Joe Plunkett of Wayman Fire Protection with a plaque commemorating the company’s decade of membership. Joe has been a staunch advocate for the NFSA and even played a role in having his company join the National Fire Sprinkler Association ten years ago. He represents Wayman on the Local IP Committee and is a big supporter of NFSA’s Area 2.
General Air Products – 30 Years of Supplier and Manufacturer Membership
Dave English received General Air’s plaque commemorating the company’s 30 years with the National Fire Sprinkler Association.
General Air Products and the Fremont family have been huge supporters of the NFSA’s mission not only locally, but nationally as well. The company’s sales team regularly attends NFSA events throughout the country and General Air regularly sponsors several NFSA meetings and expos.
From Networking to Education, NFSA Membership Comes With Several Benefits
The National Fire Sprinkler Association was honored to commemorate the membership of both Wayman Fire Protection and General Air Products at its meeting. As a member-based association, the NFSA relies on its members to accomplish its mission: “To protect lives and property from fire through the widespread acceptance of the fire sprinkler concept.”
Whether it’s NFSA’s Expert of the Day code interpretation service or training and networking events, NFSA membership comes with several benefits that aid in professional development and business growth for members.
