NFSA Member Steven Worthington Passes Away at 46

It is with heavy hearts that the National Fire Sprinkler Association announces the passing of our member, Steven Worthington. He passed away at home on September 8th, 2020 at 46 years old.
Steven and his father, Robert Worthington, who predeceased him, made an indelible mark on our Association. His commitment to advancing the fire sprinkler concept was exemplary and he will be missed both as a member and a friend. To his wife Amy, his three children and his entire family, we extend the most heartfelt of sympathies. We hope that your memories of Steve will bring comfort in the days ahead. He will be sorely missed by all of us at NFSA.
“Steven believed in the mission of the NFSA, and supported many of our initiatives and advocacy,” shared NFSA President Shane Ray. “I recall with a grateful heart a visit to Globe Manufacturing just a few years ago and being with both Steven and David. What a legacy the Worthington family leaves the fire sprinkler industry.”
