The sick leave and family leave provisions of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) will now go into effect on April 1, 2020. The statute originally stated that the leave would be available no later than April 2, 2020. The United States Department of Labor has now clarified that the new provision will be available effective April 1, 2020.
