The 2020 Burn Aid Golf Tournament is Coming!!
The official planning process for the Minnesota Chapter’s charity golf tournament is underway! Burn Aid 2020 is the 24th year for this annual event, which raises money for the Regions Hospital Burn Center and the programs provided by that lifesaving and life-restoring facility.
Over the past 23 years, over $1.2 million has been donated from the members and sponsors of the Minnesota Chapter of the NFSA to the Burn Center as a result of Burn Aid events. This year’s tournament will be held at the Dellwood Country Club in White Bear, Minnesota on September 24th. We hope you can join us!
Registration will open soon. You can find out more details at the Burn Aid Foundation website. On that site you can register for the tournament, donate to the cause, get a listing of our generous sponsors, and look at some of the work being done by the Burn Center’s amazing staff and the transformative impact on the lives of burn survivors. One such survivor is Michael Herzog, who survived a propane explosion and spent 37 days at the Burn Center. Here’s a video clip of his amazing story from KARE-11 TV: Michael Herzog Story.
Stories like Michael’s is the reason that the Minnesota Chapter members of NFSA started Burn Aid 24 years ago. Our members and the sponsors and supporters who contribute to this event are proud to contribute to the programs and facilities at the Burn Center, and most importantly to the life-changing effects on the patients and families who are treated there. You can help by sponsoring the Burn Aid event and by enjoying a fun and rewarding golf tournament on one of the area’s most beautiful courses. Come join us on September 24th for the 24th annual Burn Aid Charity Golf Tournament.
