In addition to the full Board meeting and the meetings of various Councils and Committees, the Board was treated to a Monday evening reception at API Group’s world headquarters. Board Member and API Chief Operating Officer, Steve Ulmer, introduced Board members to API history, led visitors on a tour of the corporate headquarters building, and played host for the reception. The event was an excellent opportunity for colleagues and friends to relax, converse, and network.

The Minnesota Chapter of NFSA hosted a wonderful dinner for the Board and Minnesota Chapter leaders at the McKinney Roe Irish Pub on Tuesday evening. Nearly 60 Board members, NFSA leadership, and Minnesota Chapter members dined together in an elegant, relaxed atmosphere on the mezzanine dining area of the pub – situated with a spectacular view of the new Vikings US Bank Stadium. It was a wonderful opportunity for networking and socializing after a long day of committee meetings and in preparation for Wednesday’s formal Board of Directors meeting.

It was an honor for the Minnesota Chapter to host these important Association meetings and a chance to showcase our state leadership, facilities, and membership. It was also a chance to share important updates, strategy, and comradery amongst local and national leaders and the Board of Directors.

The next Board of Directors meeting will be held in Washington, DC on November 4, 5, and 6, 2019.
