Sprinkler System Contains Fire at Albany, New York Supermarket

An electrical fire started in a refrigerator in the pharmacy of a Hannaford’s supermarket in Albany, New York on Saturday night, April 13th.
Customers were able to evacuate safely as the fire sprinkler system extinguished most of the fire, according to Albany Fire Department Batallion Chief Greg Sokaris.
Products were being assessed at the time the news article was published, but an employee of the supermarket stated that the store was expected to reopen on Monday, April 15th.
