NFSA Rep Visits Sprinkler Fitters Local 417

Local 417 Logo.jpg NFSA Regional Manager Tim Butler visited Local 417 Business Manager, Trinidad Uribe, and Training Coordinator Brad Hopping, at the union’s new location in Shoreview, Minnesota on February 11th.  The meeting was a great opportunity to meet key Local 417 leaders (including Business Agent Craig Bistodeau), and to discuss Local 417 plans, joint initiatives for growing sprinkler acceptance, and tour the classroom and laboratory facilities at the union hall.  Local 417 has over 430 dedicated members, serving the six-county metropolitan area of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Their new facility is located in a former charter school building and offers significant enhancements over the union’s previous administration and training areas.  The sprinkler lab is still under construction in a 27,000+ square foot area of the building, and the goal is to build it into the premier training facility in the North Central Region.
