NFSA State Coordinators Tom Brace and Joel Hewitt spread the sprinkler message at the ICC Upper Great Plains Region III Educational Institute on February 6th in Chaska, Minnesota.  The 4-day conference, which was hosted by the Association of Minnesota Building Officials, brought in more than 800 fire, building, and code professionals.  The NFSA information booth was set up for only one day of the conference, but it was strategically located on the pathway from the classrooms to the lunch room/registration desk area, and NFSA staff received dozens of visits from conference delegates, sponsors, and instructors.  These information booths are great opportunities to answer questions, provide testimonials, grow NFSA membership, and network with other professionals who impact our industry.  These opportunities are all part of protecting lives and property from fire through the widespread acceptance of the fire sprinkler concept!
