On Sunday, January 6th, the Mauldin, South Carolina Fire Department received a call for a fire at a local apartment complex.

Fire Chief Bill Stewart reported that the fire started in a dryer on the third floor of one of the apartments. He went on to state that a fire sprinkler in the apartment contained the fire.
