These are the men and women of the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) Field Operations team.  They are highly motivated, charged with a mission to save lives and property through promoting the wide spread acceptance of the fire sprinkler concept. They are passionate in their work and professional in the fire sprinkler industry. They are the “Boots on the Ground” that promote the fire sprinkler industry, from homes to high-rises. The members of the Field Ops Team represent different areas, regions, and states from all over the U.S. This week, at our annual staff meeting, all members of our organization were challenged by our President, Shane Ray and Chair of the Board, Kent Mezaros, to be strong, and determined to make a difference in all our work and accomplishments.

The Field Ops Team supports our Membership Services, Outreach and Government Relations, Legal Division, Engineering Division, Codes and Public Fire Protection, as well as training and educating members, AHJs, and the general public. This team coordinates and organizes everything from local grassroots efforts to supporting state and national improvements. We have great resources and individuals ready to assist in our mission. As a result of discussions at the staff meeting, we are now focused on aligning our promotions to a central theme. This has been a great week, with good discussions and focused work. I am so proud of our accomplishments and personally want to thank the Field Ops Team and everyone who attended our staff meeting that makes our organization and team so wonderful.
